We are a community centre in the heart of the Winshill Ward of Burton Upon Trent.
Our aim is to provide a great facility that brings the whole community together through a wide range of interesting and fun group activities and events.
You will find a warm welcome from Kim Smith, our friendly Centre Manager, who is at the centre most days.
Kim has worked for the Centre since 2014. She's available most weekday mornings.
I was born in Manchester, but have been settled in Burton for over 40 years. Now retired from my job as a School Laboratory Technician, I enjoy my hobbies including crafts and gardening.
I'm not originally from Burton but I have made it my home with my husband and my dog.
I am a full time mum to 3 children. I have grown up in Winshill and I joined WNRC as I can relate to what is needed and wanted in our community. I like to know that I will be part of making Winshill a safe and happy place to live in as my children grow up.
We are a registered charity and we depend on grants and donations. Winshill Parish Council make us a regular grant every year, and other organisations and businesses help support specific projects. We make some income by renting out rooms in the Centre. We also welcome support from individuals: you can donate to us directly, do a fundraising event for us, or volunteer your time and skills.
